QSR Magazine Shares Pollo Campero’s Plans for Growth 

Iconic chicken franchise’s new Director of Franchising featured in QSR magazine as part of the brands rapid growth strategy

After achieving industry leading system performance of $2 million average unit volume for freestanding franchise locations and 31 consecutive quarters of same store sales growth, Pollo Campero is starting 2021 with plans to take over the QSR market.

Recently we have shifted our business growth model into high gear, working to achieve more than 200 restaurants systemwide across major U.S. metro markets over the next five years. A key part of this formula for rapid growth, which QSR magazine noted, is the appointment of our new Director of Franchising, Sam Wong.

Wong brings years of experience leading development for other national brands such as Sonic, Dairy Queen and Popeyes. “Sam is joining our leadership team at an incredibly important moment for Pollo Campero and I am beyond confident that as Director of Franchising, he will successfully deliver our growth strategy through aggressive franchise expansion,” says Pollo Campero Managing Director and COO, Luis Javier Rodas.
