Pollo Campero Receives Press for Investing in Community Despite Pandemic
Orlando Sentinel, the city’s primary newspaper, recognizes the Guatemalan chicken restaurant for investing in the community
2020 was a lot of things, but it certainly was not “the year of restaurants.” With local, state-wide and national regulations placed on restaurant owners over the past year regarding operation and capacity it is no surprise that many have closed their doors and others are hesitant to open despite relief to the pandemic coming ahead.
However, our iconic chicken franchise is moving in an opposite direction as we ramp up plans to open 200 stores nationwide by the end of 2025. Within those 200 locations, are plans to open 40 across the sunshine state and 20 specifically in the greater Orlando area. Our commitment to being an asset to the home of Mickey Mouse is exactly why we were highlighted among other great brands in the Orlando Sentinel.
